Your thoughts will lie to you.
Your emotions will fluctuate.
But the Word of God? It stays the same.

This is why we have to speak truth over ourselves, out loud and on repeat. Because silence lets lies grow. And the more you hear the lie, the more you’ll start to believe it… unless you replace it with what God actually said.

There’s a reason the Bible says life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21).

Your words carry weight. And sometimes the breakthrough isn’t waiting in your circumstances but baby, it’s waiting in your confession.

The loudest voice in your life needs to be your own, declaring the promises of God over your mind, your calling, and your future.

Sometimes, our hope fades not because God failed—but because we expected Him to move our way. In today’s episode, we’re confronting disappointment, unmet expectations, and the lie that your story is over.

Pastor Brett Esslinger joins me for a powerful conversation about the discipline of hope and what it means to keep going even when nothing makes sense.

If you’ve ever felt disappointed with God, struggled with grief, or questioned if He’s still working—this one’s for you.

We're talking about real hope, not just a feeling, but a discipline that anchors you through it all.

The truth is, their rejection doesn’t define you - God’s word does. But too often, we take someone else’s ‘no’ and let it shape how we see ourselves.

You are not forgotten. You are not unworthy. You are not a mistake.

If you’ve been struggling with rejection, this is your reminder: LET THEM REJECT YOU, JUST DON’T REJECT YOURSELF.

Swipe through for the TRUTH that will set you free. Then drop a TRUTH in the comments and I’ll DM you the link to Episode 11 🧂+ ✨

What if your obedience is the key to healing your entire lineage?

Breaking generational curses isn’t easy! It’s gonna cost you comfort, relationships, and old mindsets. But take it from me, whatever the cost - IT 👏🏾 IS 👏🏾 WORTH 👏🏾 IT and the cost staying stuck is even greater!

“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” — Isaiah 43:19

I struggled with anger for the LONGEST! When I finally began to cry out to God for help with overcoming it - He revealed a generational curse of anger in my lineage, and from that moment the process began. It required sacrifice but the curse of anger ENDED with me!

Comment ‘BREAK’ and I’ll send you the full episode on Uprooting Anger & Breaking Generational Curses. 🧂+ ✨

I spent years wrestling with something that was never mine to carry—a generational stronghold of anger. I thought it was just part of who I was until God revealed the truth: the root of my anger was generational, and I was never meant to hold it.

Breaking free required sacrifice. It was painful, but the moment I let go, the weight lifted, and freedom took its place. Now, I feel like a new woman entirely—my kids have a new mother, my friends have a new me, and my husband has a new wife.

If you’re ready to break cycles, heal, and step into your God-given purpose, this episode is for you.

Thank You, JESUS, for 31 incredible years. Lord, You have brought me so far, and for that I am so grateful. A wise man once said that birthdays aren’t just about celebrating a new age but about reflecting on the days we have left. The Bible teaches us to number our days, reminding us that everything with a beginning will have an end. Though we don’t know the end date, we know it is certain.

So today, I thank You for the precious gift of time. It is You who woke me up every morning, sustained me every day, and carried me through the last 31 years. As I celebrate this milestone, I thank You not only for the years behind me but also for the time that lies ahead. I commit every second, every moment, and every step of my journey into Your hands. May Your perfect will be done in and through my life. May the days ahead bring glory to Your name and advance Your kingdom.

Father, at the end of this beautiful journey called life, my greatest desire is to see You face to face and hear these words: ‘Well done, Shimona—my good and faithful servant.’ 🤍
