Starting in 1974, the "14 Country Favorites" series of Various Artist compilation LPs were released on Canada's first Independent Country label, Royalty Records. With all recordings produced by founder R. Harlan Smith, these albums feature cover versions of the era's most popular Country hits performed by Royalty's roster of outstanding talent including Jimmy Arthur Ordge, Chris Nielsen, and R. Harlan Smith himself.
Now fully re-mastered and available for the first time digitally, this inaugural volume includes classic Country arrangements of timeless hits like "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown", "Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round The Ole Oak Tree", "Delta Dawn", and many more.
