Launched in 2015, NVMA is Edmonton's premiere, affordable electronic music DJ & Production school. Located on Jasper Avenue in downtown Edmonton, Alberta, NVMA features weekly night classes, weekend workshops, 1-on-1 mentorship, private studios for recording, and a community of professional and aspiring producers and DJs. Our weekly music courses were developed to be everything an artist needs to gain momentum in the music industry.

Due to Halloween falling on the last Friday of October, we have decided to move Feedback! up one week.

Or maybe your CDJ-800’s with the glonky tempo fader are tried and true, but you’re not sure how to use new & improved club-standard gear?

Maybe you don’t know what any of that means and you’re just here to have a good time.

Either way, we’ve got you. Our DJ classes teach you the fundamentals: from troubleshooting on the fly, figuring out where the heck the sort by BPM function went, or simply learning how to count to 4 (it’s important- we promise)

Whether you’re experienced in all of these areas or just one, we’d love to hear from you! If we find one person who’s a great fit for everything, amazing! We are also open to bringing on multiple folks who each bring their own strengths and passions, so don’t let that discourage you 🖤

What we’re looking for:

⚡ Proficiency with various types of DJ equipment & software (Pioneer/AlphaTheta, Serato, Rekordbox, etc.)
⚡ Experience with a DAW (Ableton preferred)
⚡ Strong communication & mentoring skills
⚡ A desire to grow, inspire, and create
⚡️ Prior teaching or recording experience is a plus, but is not required
