This year is the 10th anniversary of the MMP tour.

To mark the occasion, the CBC will broadcast our final show worldwide on Aug 22, 7pm local time (7:30pm NT), commercial-free.

Ten years ago, The Tragically Hip took the stage for the final time in their hometown of Kingston, Ont. Now, the band is set to honour its legacy with the release of a landmark live album and exclusive CBC rebroadcast/global live stream of A National Celebration — the band’s last show.

Watch the concert worldwide on Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. local time, 7:30 p.m. NL, commercial-free. Check your local area for watch parties near you, or host one of your own!

The new album, titled Live July 22 – August 20, 2016, will be available on Aug. 21 and features recordings from the band’s final cross-Canada tour.
