My Name is Heather, and I am a Professional Photographer of Canada (PPOC,) nationally accredited in Studio Portrait Photography and Image Manipulation. I am a Canadian Association of Photographic Arts (CAPA) winner in 2019 (First Merit) for Portrait. 2020 award Silver Medal and Second Merit for CAPA as well. I have been a photographer for over 15 years and it feels very rewarding to see my work ha

nging in peoples homes and in galleries. It is also great to see my work used as Album Covers for bands. My favourite projects are when I get to take images and create art through digital manipulation. I can't wait to work with you on the next project in my studio.

I feel incredibly blessed to have worked with so many talented, kind, and inspiring people over the years.

What started as a passion has grown into a journey I never imagined seeing my work featured on posters, magizine covers, album artwork, promotional campaigns, and even billboards in New York.
These are just a few of the projects I’ve had the privilage to be part of, with several more still waiting to be announced.

Thank you to everyone who has shared a part of their journey with me. Every project has been an honor,and I’m excited to see what the future holds.

I wanted to share a portrait I created of my friend Linda Treleaven during one of our SIG portrait sessions.

Linda is not only a talented photographer whose work I greatly admire, but she is also someone I look up to for her creativity, dedication, and passion for the craft.

It was a privilege to have her in front of my camera for a change. I love the quiet strength and warmth captured in this image, and I hope it reflects even a small part of the beautiful person she is, both behind and in front of the lens.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of having Ahead by a Century - A Tribute to the Tragically Hip in the studio with their new drummer.

It’s always fun catching up and hearing what everyone’s been up to, great energy, lots of laughs, and they really get into the creative process. We played around with gels, smoke, and lighting setups, created some new content for them, and came away with some seriously cool shots.

Now I’ve just got to get a few of them back in for some of my own creative projects as well.

Sessions like this remind us why we love what we do.

Quintin Kluczny sits calm, controlled, and a little dangerous… like whatever he’s thinking, it matters. The light, the shadows, the stillness, it all feels like a moment frozen mid-scene.

He looks like he could literally get up, walk out that door, and step straight into that world without missing a beat.
