OMG!! I ( Russ) am blown away by the incredible Moroccan dish that Lady Gwendolyn manifested tonight! No other word is quite as appropriate at "Flavourgasm" ( yes, with a u 😉 🇨🇦). I've been to Morocco and this was the best ever! While I was working on the boat today, Gwen kept herself happy making a healthy Jamie Oliver recipe, a Flagrant Veggie Phylo Tart, from scratch. Scratch! Everything. From. Scratch. Gluten-free Phylo, Apricot sauce, seasoning blends. And it was amazing!!!
What's most interesting about this is that when I first met Gwen, she couldn't/ didn't cook. Fridge was full of adult beverages. She was setting my expectations, I think 🤔.

It’s been a long winter, and Gwen hasn’t been feeling well, but she’s improving as she managed to ask Russ a Hey Babe AND record it.
Even when life is hard we laugh a lot, we just don’t have the oomph to share it.

We've just completed a race across Canada. Our own race, against ourselves. Now we're tired and questioning why we had to complete it so quickly. Then we sit on the dock and enjoy the view (and the neighbor's dogs chasing the Canadian geese into the water) and we know. We are ready for a low key summer at home. And yes, we know we probably just jinked ourselves. :)
