It has been awhile since I had a Bear Share!

In this case a super cute Bunny Share. She was made using a mixture of a sweater and cotton material. A special message was digitized and embroidered onto the inner ears.

Hello Bear Friends!

I was notified by a bear friend that Google Maps is showing that my business is closed.

This is not the case.

Despite trying to edit this false information, I have been unable to fix it and have sent an e mail to google. Fingers crossed they can help fix the problem.

Hello Bear Friends!

Tonight I have a very special Bear Share for all of you. These bears were made using a much loved shirt that was accessorized using the buttons that the family had saved from a military uniform. I also added in the Air Force Wings onto the chest of the bears. Such a beautiful, personal touch to them!

Hello Bear Friends!

Introducing my memory pillow collection!

In the past I have made pillows using just one shirt and am now offering three different blocked designs, a four block, nine block or sixteen block.

As always, you can level up the basic design by adding in the option to have a appliqued design with the saying "Sadly missed and quietly remembered every day" or an appliqued heart that can be customized to include personal handwriting.

The pillows are 16 X 16 inches and they have an envelope style back for the pillow form to be removed if needed.

I feel these pillows are the perfect compliment to my memory bears and bunnies.

Happy Friday Bear Friends!

Sharing this sweet bunny made from a beautiful receiving blanket. I accented the feet and inner ears with the baby sleeper and of course some embroidery to personalize the memory bunny.

Hello Bear Friends!

It is that time of year again where I am booking for the holiday season.

The holiday season is traditionally based around family gatherings. A time when stories are shared and memories rekindled. Inevitably, the holidays are also spent remembering loved ones who are no longer with us. Having a memory bear created from sentimental items is a beautiful way to honour a loved one and to provide comfort during what are often difficult times.

Every year I find myself having to turn people away who want to have bears made for gifting during the holidays. To avoid disappointment, now is the time to contact me as the cut off date for December 2023 will be September 1st.

The advantage of reserving your spot on my waiting list now is that you will not only get a guarantee of a bear for holiday gifting you would also be slotted in prior to my price increase that goes into effect on August 1st.

I look forward to working to create something special for you and your family this holiday season.

Hello Bear Friends,

For 26 years I have poured my heart into building my business one bear at a time. Everyday I am humbled by the trust that clients extend to me when giving me sentimental items belonging to loved ones to have a memory bear, bunny or pillow created.

The path that my business took, evolving from collector bears to memory bears, is very in tune to my empathetic soul and I am the first to admit it is led by my heart. I always have a Kleenex box strategically on hand when clients arrive to pick up as more often than not they are moved to tears upon seeing their precious memory items. It is a very emotional moment and I am crying right along side them. Each creation from the Den impacts my heart as well which is how I know I have chosen the right vocation. It brings me such happiness to know I am providing something that helps to bring comfort to those who have lost a loved one.

Over the years I have done my best to shield my clients from the cost increases in my supplies by simply absorbing them myself, however with the rate of inflation I am unfortunately no longer in a position to do so and still have this be a sustainable business. As a small business owner the last thing I want to do is to increase pricing to my loyal clients but it is the only way I can continue to offer the exceptional memory items that See More Bears is known for.

Effective August 1st, 2023, I will be increasing my pricing as follows:

Small Memory Bear from Clothing (12 inches) $125.00
Medium Memory Bear from Clothing (17 inches) $155.00
Large Memory Bear from Clothing (20 inches) $175.00

Small Fur Coat Bear (12 inches) $160.00
Medium Fur Coat Bear (17 inches) $180.00
Large Fur Coat Bear (20 inches) $205.00

Pillows made from a shirt (16 x 16 inches) $70.00
Pillows made from real fur (16 x 16 inches) $90.00

If you would like to have your name placed on my waiting list before the new prices come into effect on August 1st, please contact me. Just a reminder that a 25% non refundable deposit is required to secure your spot on the waiting list.

This was not an easy decision for me to make, so from the bottom of my heart - which is the foundation of this heart led business - I thank all of you for your support and understanding. It has been a pleasure and privilege these past 26 years to work with hundreds of clients, creating precious memory bears and it is my wish to continue to do so.

Todays share is a muskrat fur coat that was not only transformed into a bear, but also a pillow. The lining of the coat had the personal initials on it, and the lining itself was so lovely with its intricate design that it also was used to create a pillow with the fur on one side and the lining on the other.

Hello Bear Friends!

This handsome bear was created using a button up denim shirt. I incorporated the buttons on the two front shirt pockets on the arms of the bear, as well as the stripe on the outer legs, just for interest. He is finished off with embroidery to represent a special Dad who is missed.

Today's Bear Share is a sweet little bear made from a baby sleeper. This baby sleeper was in remarkable condition considering it is 35 years old and has swaddled not only the client's two sons, but also her 5 grandchildren! Talk about special!
