Yesterday we had an event at Naicatchewenin First Nation streaming their election nominees on Zoom as they each presented their platforms and answered questions from community members. We also provided sound services and an 8x5ft LED wall to connect those in the building with outside members on the Zoom call.

Nothing like a great voice to kick the season into gear 🎄
I had the chance to record, edit, and mix the vocals on this cover of “Do You Hear What I Hear?” (Carrie Underwood version), sung by my sister, Emma Govier — and yes, she was absolutely flawless in the studio. Two takes. That’s it.

This one has us fully in the Christmas spirit, and I’m excited to finally share it with you.

Little clip I took of the coming off the ice with their 2-1 lead after the 2nd. Tonight. I didn’t get to see it but they went on to win the game 👍🏻

Today was our first go at doing audio/visual work with the new LED wall. We were at Guthrie United Church in Devlin live streaming a funeral for a treasured community member. Lots going on in this one!

We also provided additional sound for an overflow room in the church’s back room. No internet - so we used our handy dandy Starlink and mobile data bonding to fill out the bandwidth.

We mic’d up the room, the podium and the piano to get a nice clean feed out to those watching.

This stream was broadcasted to the Devlin Community Hall where more overflow traffic was sent. Here is where we hung an 8x5ft section of LED Video wall (we’re able to do up to 16x9ft!). We fed the sound out through our own speakers.

No hiccups, thankfully! A successful event. Lots of setup but was worthwhile seeing as many seniors attended the event who maybe aren’t as keen with technology.

Everyone could hear and see clearly.. Our job is done 🙂
