We are thrilled to have Long Story Records as a panelist for the SongRise Music Conference taking place in Grimshaw this weekend. Kurt Furstenwerth, representing Long Story Records, will share wisdom, guidance and answer questions from our 2025 delegates. Long Story Records is an independent artist collective based in Bluesky, Alberta, dedicated to the betterment of the local music community through collaboration and mutual support.

The SongRise Music Conference is a two-day event that brings together artists and industry professionals for workshops, networking, songwriting, live performance, and a public concert. Whether you're just starting out or well into your music journey, SongRise offers meaningful connections and creative inspiration.

This conference is proudly hosted by Community Futures Peace Country with the generous support of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, the Town of Grimshaw, and the SOCAN Foundation and is now officially SOLD OUT! But don't worry, you can still get concert tickets for Saturday night at songriseconference.ca.

Tickets on sale now at Mad Dog Cresting in Fairview, they will be available for sale at The Sterling Skull Studio in Grande Prairie starting on Wednesday May 28th! You can also buy early by emailing and etransfering [email protected]. Tickets will be held at the gate. $25 for advance tickets. They will be $40 if you wait and buy at the gate. All tickets will be entered to win door prizes including a Yeti cooler full of frozen buffalo, sauces and adult beverages valued at over $1200 sponsored by Dunvegan Market Gardens!
