Producer/Director, Jordan Perreault, will be sharing his "Minor Setbacks, Major Comebacks" presentation at the 3rd Annual Compassion in Action Gathering in Dryden, ON hosted by Community Living Dryden-Sioux Lookout next month.

Through his presentation, Jordan shares his lived experience of overcoming a difficult upbringing and youth custody, and how resilience, accountability, and creativity helped him build a career in media. His sessions combine real-world storytelling with videography and photography skills, giving youth and adults practical tools and a belief that change and success are possible.

What can we learn from lived experience?

At this year's Compassion in Action Gathering, attendees will hear powerful stories of resilience, recovery, and hope from speakers who have turned personal challenges into opportunities for growth and leadership.

These conversations help all of us better understand what supports recovery, builds connection, and creates meaningful change.

This project is bigger than just a video.

Our goal is to help revitalize skate culture in Fort Frances and the surrounding area by building a stronger skate community, creating opportunities for local skaters, potentially forming a skate team, and eventually hosting annual skate competitions.

• Skaters are responsible for getting themselves to filming locations if chosen (we will also do day trips to surrounding areas and can accommodate some skaters if needed)
