One of my all time fav musicians of all time just released a double of and versions of songs from his band ’s amazing catalog! There are many songs I wish they chose to do instead of others, but with a catalog this deep every song is still awesome! Get it! Absolutely love it!

The Real Ozzy
A few weeks ago on my podcast, I said I loved Ozzy Osbourne—and people were shocked. Surprised. Confused.
But let me tell you something about Ozzy.
Ozzy was anti-war. Ozzy was anti-fascist. Yes, he was theatrical—sometimes outrageous—but underneath all of it was a rebel heart and a mind that saw through the lies.
His lyrics were revolutionary to me as a kid.
Take “Crazy Train”:
“Maybe it’s not too late / To learn how to love and forget how to hate.”
Or “War Pigs”:
“Generals gathered in their masses / Just like witches at black masses.”
One of the greatest lines in rock history.
Sure, Ozzy struggled—with addiction, with chaos—but he never sold out. And he never stopped calling out the madness around him. He once described hearing the Beatles for the first time as, “like going to sleep in black and white and waking up in color.” That’s what his music did for us.
His last concert was a revelation. He looked humbled. Kind. The opposite of how he was portrayed for so many years.
Ozzy scared the people who wanted to control us. That’s what fascism is at its core: control. Ozzy—despite everything—fought back.
“I’m not afraid of dying. I’m afraid of not trying.” — Ozzy Osbourne

🤯 Former Kyuss frontman John Garcia and Mastodon guitarist Bill Kelliher have a new band in the pipeline, though there's still no word on when fans will hear it.
