Imagine someone seeing every RAW you’ve ever taken. That’s what it felt like when we brought Jacob on to help edit. I was lowkey horrified.
He started digging into every dusty corner of my workflow to learn. And asking questions I’d thought of in theory, but never explained out loud. Saving grace was that keep going til you figure it out gene I have… even if it means admitting I don’t know.
How blurry is too blurry?
Is this recoverable?
Why does this just feel…off?
Why are we out of Generative credits lol?
These photos were some of the first where I started envisioning our current brand in. 🥹 (SO exciting as a business owner iykyk).
Just here to say you don’t change inside your comfort zone. And neither will your photos. I felt pressured as an educator & former bo***ir photographer to have this perfect posing “workflow” I followed to a T(similar every time, poses, prompts etc).
Thankful for the day I realized it was killing my creativity. You mean no time for zoomies?! I think not.
Every “let me try that one more time”, the hours tweaking colours, new piece of gear, every mistake, every “well, that didn’t work”… that’s where the growth & change happens.
Safe is consistent.
Play is where YOUR magic comes from.
Are you a same 10 poses all the time photographer or cute lil creative chaos train? 🤭
Remember, it’s all made up anyways. 🫶
Grateful for everyone who trusts me to keep it on the tracks. Luv you more.
