Itโs disheartening to witness that the issue isn't about capability or knowledge; the mayorship has essentially been bought by her. Allegations suggest she spent money to secure the position, which raises serious concerns about integrity in our leadership. This isnโt the first time such corruption has tarnished Moga, and it's a significant reason for the city's ongoing underdevelopment. The seat is not being given to deserving candidates, which is why the BC formula is being introduced by the current MLAโessentially to keep the mayorship within her grasp.
Moreover, experienced leaders like five-time Councillor Kala Bajaj are being clearly neglected, further showcasing the favoritism that speaks volumes in Moga. If this trend continues, the current MLA may not even secure a ticket from the Moga constituency in the upcoming elections. Itโs time we stand up for merit and integrity, advocating for a leadership that genuinely represents the community. Together, we can work towards a brighter future for Moga!
