FLIP Entertainment is locally owned and operated by founder Franklin Matias. Born and raised in Grande Prairie, Franklin has built a unique sound company based on his intimate knowledge of the area, coupled with his passion for providing the best service in Grande Prairie and Western Canada. FLIP Entertainment’s success is also due
to the dedication of its team. Our common goal is to leave each event with a memorable stamp with our clients feeling good, all smiles and high fives. Together they have tackled Grande Prairie’s sound scene with their high priority on customer care, and an array of easy-to-access services. FLIP Entertainment features one of the top-rated DJ services in the area and offers a full range of rental capabilities - from a single mic for a grand opening to event lighting, live streaming, photo booth rentals, and everything in between. Formed in 2008, FLIP Entertainment has not only hosted some of the top acts in the country, but has performed at local premier events such as the 2019 Canadian Fastball Championship, the 2018 Alberta Summer Games, the 2015 Special Olympics, G.P Stompede, Art Battle, STARS Hanger Dance, and hosting annual 3 on 3 FLIP IT UP Tournament. They have provided AV and sound support to numerous other private, charitable and corporate events. FLIP Entertainment prides itself on its high standard for events and a customer-focused approach. FLIP Entertainment is more than your average entertainment company.
