Identity Film Camp LIVE is a free, Indigenous-led 5-day film camp for youth ages 12–17 hosted by TDEP Productions and C.I.A Solutions INC. Through hands-on training in filmmaking, live production, and storytelling, the camp supports Indigenous youth voices while welcoming participants from all backgrounds.

Two camp sessions are available:
• Grande Prairie, AB — July 6–10, 2026
• Peace River, AB — July 13–17, 2026

Designed for youth interested in filmmaking, video production, and live streaming, participants will work together to create and perform a Saturday Night Live-style show that will be streamed live.

Throughout the week, youth will gain hands-on experience with professional video and streaming equipment while learning from industry mentors with real-world film and television experience. Participants will explore writing, directing, acting, filming, lighting, sound recording, live production, and more.

Well, we have an identity film camp that starts tomorrow from 8:30 to 4:30 at the Grand Prairie live theater until Friday. We had a couple last-minute cancellations, so we have a couple slots open. Last week we held our school, edition of identity, film camp in partnership with Telus STORYHIVE and Grande Prairie Composite High School.  it was an amazing week, and we are glad to have the opportunity to work with everyone.

Good news everyone! We are finally able to host another film camp in Grande Prairie AB this summer. If you know anyone between the ages of 12-17 who is interested in filmmaking, or is just a creative individual looking to explore new ways of expressing themselves, please encourage them to sign up! This is a once in a life time opportunity to learn and get hands on experience about the art of filmmaking from local industry professionals. The participants of the camp will work together to write, shoot, and edited their very own short film.

Identity Youth Film Camps have been providing these camps to the community since 2017. After the pandemics two year disruption of these camps we are so excited to once again be able to provide this opportunity to our local youth once more, and share in this art form we love so much.
