Wahala in UK as Nigerian family loses house for helping fellow Nigerian
A Nigerian family in the UK tried to help a lady who just arrived 3 months ago to study. They gave her accommodation for £300, which was very cheap because rent around that school area is £500 to £600.
When she got to school and met some friends, they advised her wrongly. She discovered the family were also tenants, so she told them to reduce her rent to £200 or she would report them to the landlord.
They refused, and she actually reported them.
The landlord came that same day and ordered them to vacate the property for breaching their tenancy agreement.
Now both the family and the student are looking for a new house.
