Did you know Northern Ontario is home to countless Christmas movies? Every year, our communities are transformed into magical holiday towns, creating exciting opportunities for local actors. (Swipe to see some of our students on the sets of productions like Hot Frosty, Joy to the World, and more!).

This summer, our Christmas in July Acting Series will have students working on Christmas movie scenes, holiday commercials, Christmas-themed improv, on-camera skills, audition techniques, and the acting style that brings holiday movies to life.

We're excited to welcome Toronto filmmaker Jade Yurich to Sudbury for two opportunities to take part in his comedy-focused acting workshop, Find Your Funny.

Designed for actors of all experience levels, this high-energy workshop will help participants discover their unique comedic strengths and develop the skills needed to bring humour to life on screen.

Through improv, scene work, character exploration, and performance exercises, participants will learn how to make bold choices, trust their instincts, and find the truth behind great comedy.

Summer Screen Acting Camps are filling up fast!

We’re offering 4 exciting weeks of Summer Screen Acting Camps, and families are welcome to register for multiple weeks.

📅 Ages 6–13
⏰ 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
💲 $225 + HST

Led by Kelly Lamb, campers will explore the world of film and television through:

• Character creation & scene work
• Green screen activities
• Commercial & voice-over acting
• Script work from film and television
• Audition techniques and on-set experiences

Special Guest: Dennis from Northern Exotics for our popular "Acting with Animals" workshop!

Campers will build confidence, spark creativity, make new friends, and experience the magic of screen acting.
