2,900kms and 31hrs of driving the past 2 days has me and Gretchen back in the great white north, and back to reality. Can’t even describe how much fun we had traveling, visiting, riding and enjoying the Florida weather. Julie gets to hang out for a bit longer before she gets back and use a snow brush again.

Now I’m back to counting the days to spring and all the cool things coming this season. Thanks to everyone following along and now I have to get ready to drive another 700kms tomorrow for work. I must be getting close to having an Iron Butt. lol.

Made it across 4 states and 1,500kms today and taking a break. Seeing Julie is still hanging out in Florida, I’ll have to snuggle up with Gretchen and her heated seats for a little nap.

Left Cape Coral this morning at +17°C and now a balmy -5°C and snowing in Tennessee. Guess the cold didn’t go away while we were away. Somene will have to tell Gretchen.

Florida nightlife is turning out to have a fun side as well. Lots of things to do when the sun goes down. Lots of live music.

Wow, what a long 2 days, but couldn’t have a bigger smile for what we done and saw. We rode 1000kms in 2 days through the Everglades and the Florida Keys, to get to Key West and back to Cape Coral today. We walked and drove Duval St. during Mardi Gras, saw the sun set last night at Mallory Square and pic of Most Southern point of the U.S. this morning. We saw some great sights along the way and enjoyed some great food. Will have to plan to go back to see the rest of the sights.

Made it to Key West and what a wonderful ride down. Got settled in to our hotel in time to catch the sunset. Then walked the streets to see some sites and get some bites.
