Since I came forward, yesterday, with my story about how I told about my nightmare experience with my daughter at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Adolescent Gender Clinic before he voted (twice) to jail parents for seeking counselling that would help their child feel comfortable in their natural body, I have been attacked, smeared, shamed, gaslit, DARVO'ed, called a liar, a crazy person, a bad father, and threatened with a lawsuit...
.. by CPC supporters.
I was once a card-carrying member of the CPC. I voted for Pierre, for my MP, in 2015. In 2019, I thought the situation in Canada was so dire that I let him put a lawn sign on my corner lot, in Stittsville, knowing full well I could have been court martialed for it, because I was still in the military, and I voted for him again.
In January of 2021, as his constituent, I told Pierre about my nightmare experience. While I was deployed to Iraq, my daughter turned 16. Because this is the legal age of consent for medical treatment in Ontario, The Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario started calling her phone directly to get her to come into the gender clinic to send her down the path of becoming a permanent medical patient. She didn't need her daddy's permission anymore. She cut her long hair short for the appointment. "She's 16, now." they told me.
Armed with this information, Pierre went on to vote for the Conversion Therapy Bill two more times (Bill C-6 and C-4). In 2021, I voted for PPC, and I bought a membership. In 2025, I ran as a candidate.
I have many friends who are CPC supporters. We hang out on the regular. I don't abuse them and they don't abuse me. Everybody gets to say whatever they need to say, without getting sued. So, I know that there are many principled people amongst their base, but the CPC sure does have a problem with wokeism (Willingly Overlooking Known Evils). It has become increasingly difficult to tell the CPC apart from the LPC, and our children suffer greatly for it.
