Learning to deal with discomfort is hard.

When we accept discomfort we get better at coping.

As we get better at coping with challenges and the things we don't like, we become more accepting and emotionally balanced.

That's what we should strive for.

Cancelling all the things that trigger us is just a form of running away from our problems.

Our right to free speech is essential and we can't allow acts of violence to silence the voice.

Though I don't agree with everything Charlie Kirk represented, I do believe that he had the right to voice it. I think that there were some missteps in the delivery and as a society we are guilty of fuelling the approach that many groups, influencers and public personalities use to generate interest in their message.
