Spectators enjoying the Canso Regatta in 1913.

This year’s Regatta is taking place all week from August 13 -20. Events include bingo, dances, a guided hike, a free family swim, barbeques and dinners, fireworks, and of course races! Visit https://cansoregatta.ca/ for more information.

Parkrun on saturday! Let's see some new faces. Come along and walk or jog, bring the kids, bring the dog.
5 km is not as far as you think. At parkrun Noone judges, everyone cheers.
We are considering parkbench to parkrun. If you'd like to see what we are about come and join us. If you enjoy walking and would like to jog in the future come and discuss couch to 5km. We can do it together. Remember , no matter how long it takes you to complete the 5km trail you are running circles around the guy on the couch!
Finish off with coffee across the road after and socialise because that's what parkrin Is about!
