UPDATE: Highway 118 is expected to remain closed for several hours. The closure extends from 25th Line to Tulip Road. Motorists are asked to avoid the area. ^h.n.

ROAD CLOSURE: Highway 118 is fully closed at Whiskey Jack Lane, south of Beech Lake in Haliburton County. Emergency crews are responding to a serious collision involving a tractor trailer and a motorcycle. Please avoid the area and use alternate routes if possible, as the closure is expected to be lengthy. Updates to follow. ^pia
