Not sure if you had a chance to see it when it visited Halifax in 2023, but here's a little piece of history! 🚢📸

ARC Gloria is the Colombian Navy's iconic tall ship, launched in 1968 to train naval cadets and serve as a floating ambassador for Colombia around the world.

These are a couple of drone shots I captured during its visit. One of those ships that looks almost like it belongs in a movie rather than real life.

The first true leaf on our Malabar spinach! 🌱

Since Malabar spinach is a tropical plant, growing it here in Nova Scotia is not always easy. Cool temperatures can slow it down, so every bit of growth feels like a win.

A tiny leaf today, hopefully a jungle of vines later this summer. 😊

A 100-year-old stone house hiding in plain sight… 🪨🏡

We had the privilege to visit this hidden secret stone house in Nova Scotia back in 2020 and capture some photos before fencing was added.

A roughly 100-year-old stone structure that stood quietly along Highway 103 near Hubbards, briefly revealed during road twinning work and offering a rare glimpse into the past beside a modern highway.

A small reminder that history is often closer than it looks.
