Which airport would you like to see increase their liquid limits?

From midnight tonight, travellers can now carry up to two litres of liquids and gels in their hand luggage. The old 100ml rule and clear plastic bag requirement are gone.

Liquids, gels, and electronic devices can also stay inside your bags when going through scanners. This is expected to make security checks faster and less stressful.

The upgrade comes after the rollout of 30 new C3 scanners across both terminals. These scanners use CT-style 3D imaging, similar to hospital technology, giving security staff a much clearer picture of what’s inside your bag.

Some rules remain in place. Belts, jackets, hoodies, and shoes that go over the ankle still need to be removed. Passengers must also empty pockets of phones, wallets, and keys.

This makes Dublin Airport one of the first in Europe to fully adopt the new technology, months ahead of the EU’s December 2025 deadline.

Cork Airport will be next, with C3 scanners set to be installed in the coming months.

343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift.

60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol.

8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift.

None of them saw past 11:00am Sept 11, 2001.

✨ First Time in Halifax! ✨

The inaugural sailing of Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady made its stop at the Port Halifax on Aug 31, and we couldn’t miss it!

🚢💫 We headed down to the Halifax Waterfront to watch this beauty before it departed.

Our kids immediately asked if this would be our next cruise… 😅 Sorry Big Sis & Lil Bro—Virgin Voyages is adults-only. Maybe one day when grandparents are here to babysit, Mommy & Daddy will sneak away for this one. 😉❤️
