Okay, now that I've had a chance to recoup from the last couple of weekends, I just have to say - wow! Both Friday night for and were outstanding!

Friday, we (.ok and I) were added last minute to the lineup, so a huge hug of appreciation for The Shreve Brothers being so accommodating and having us on board for their song release party. Guess they liked us (🙏🤩) , as we'll be doing more shows together soon - keep your eyes peeled for that coming up very soon.
And a massive thank you to the folks that came out early (including for some hot event content) and bought advance tickets to be there and show their support. I love you guys so much!

Saturday, I managed to get to site just in the nick of time to throw up my tent, put Josette in a harness and then bang out a harder than usual set in the brief bit of rain we had that day.
This version of Raven Forest was my favourite so far - everyone who came embodied the values of community and care. I got to spend more time and deepen my connections with new and old friends alike. And, yes, I found my phone. Right where I left it. Mostly. 🤦‍♀️
I honestly can't believe what got accomplished in 10 days. We showed where there is a will there is definitely a way. Amazing effort, now get some rest & relaxation, you all deserve it so much.

A huge thank you to both crews, staff, volunteers artists and dancers making this a weekend for the books, and one I will not soon forget. I love that I can do this, share the music I live and breathe with you guys. 💓
Feeling so blessed. What a great end to the summer season.

Halifax house and dance fam, we are only two days out until The Shreve Brothers release party for Ø Days Sober.

We're at The Mouse Trap (2736 Robie Street), so tickets are limited capacity and selling fast - lock yours in now or it’s $20 at the door.

I'm playing right after doors open at 6pm, so come out early for a full night of dancing until 2am!

It's tragic that Electric Pines was unable to host their annual summer festival this year, but seeing the whole community come together to put on some smaller shows to help fill the void has been truly heartwarming. Reminds me of the days of yore when everything was DIY and everyone pitched in to get it done.

Saturday, we head back to Raven Forest for round 2.0 Labour of Love. The details are still being worked out, but expect a variety of genres, with vendors and camping. I will add event details once available, but with limited tickets (200), you may want to purchase immediately via DM to Raven Forest Festival on Facebook or Instagram. Every $20 from each ticket sold will go to Electric Pines to help them recover some of their losses and plan for next year.

Also have new stickers (in my font!) so hit me up for them if you see me out this weekend and next.
