🌿✨ Almost There… ✨🌿

On the easel today: a 12x16 abstract oil painting, soft and atmospheric, with just one final layer to go.

There’s something so peaceful about this stage — the colours have settled, the brushstrokes are starting to whisper to each other, and the whole piece feels like it’s taking a deep, steady breath.

I’m letting it rest before adding the last layer, enjoying this quiet moment where the painting is both becoming and already beautiful.

If you love calm, serene abstractions that feel like a place you’ve been (or wish you could escape to), this one might be for you.

🚨 Signature Folk Art Piece Available 🚨

This one-of-a-kind papier-mâché sculpture, titled “Canada is Not for Sale,” is ready to find its permanent home.

A bold Canadian goose takes center stage—protective, defiant, and a little cheeky. Dressed in steel work boots, stomping a “For Sale” sign, this bird means business.

From Nova Scotia roots, she sports a bright orange life jacket instead of a safety vest, and a Canadian ball cap stamped with Carney’s iconic “NEVER.”

Created for the Nova Scotia Folk Art Festival 2025 in Lunenburg, the piece is hand-built with papier-mâché, and plaster over a wire armature on a wooden base, finished with protective polyurethane.
📏 Dimensions: 2 ft high x 2.5 ft wide

This is a statement piece looking for the right company or collector to claim ownership.
