We had the privilege of capturing the FSAC 2025 Conference held at the Halifax Convention Centre.

This meaningful gathering brought together death-care professionals from across Canada, fostering opportunities for learning, connection, and collaboration. The conference centered on advancing the quality of care provided to families, and we were honored to document this event.

Here are a few glimpses.

SHARE // PARTAGER (3/3) 🥘

For the final chapter of eat make share: a taste of immigration, we explored the power of sharing. How recipes and food traditions are passed on, adapted, and celebrated.

From handwritten family cookbooks to modern cooking shows, sharing has always been at the heart of keeping cultural food legacies alive.

These were our favourite moments with this thoughtful and inspiring exhibition at the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21.

MAKE // PRÉPARER (2/3) 🍽️

Newcomers have shaped the way we prepare, adapt, and innovate in the kitchen. Immigration hasn’t just introduced new flavours to Canada, it’s brought new techniques, tools, and traditions that transform everyday ingredients into meaningful meals.

Through MAKE, the exhibition highlights how communities adapt beloved dishes using what’s available, blending Canadian ingredients with personal histories to create something entirely new. From time-honoured methods to inventive pairings, this chapter celebrates creativity, resilience, and the power of cultural fusion in the kitchen.

EAT // MANGER (1/3) 🍽️

We had the joy of photographing eat make share: a taste of immigration at the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 (). This travelling exhibit dives into how 400+ years of immigration have shaped the way we eat in Canada.

Eating is such a daily occurrence that we rarely pause to consider what we eat—how it’s shaped by what’s available, what’s convenient, and what we’re navigating in life. EAT, the first chapter of the Eat Make Share exhibition, invites us to reflect on these choices and the deeper stories they carry about culture, migration, and identity.

From powerful first-person accounts to an excellent interplay of physical objects and digital displays, this multi-sensory immersive exhibition brings Canada’s food history to life.
