Audition Date: July 6, 2019

Synopsis: Julie is a member of the Elite Team 325 of the Department of Reform tasked with destroying the insurgency in Gog Colony and bringing Emotion Criminals to justice. However, unknown to her team, she is an insurgent working to bring down the Colony and an Emotional Criminal herself as she is in love with Lara, the daughter of a Colony Elder. As both parts of her life head on a collision course, Julie and her insurgent cell have a plan to turn the tide against the Colony.

Character Breakdown

Julie: 20s (or appears to be). Julie is focused, driven and about the mission. She is a weapons specialist and in place to lead Team 325. She is in touch with her emotions but knows when and how to switch it off to “pass” as a good citizen of Gog Colony.

Lara: 20s (or appears to be). Lara has lived a life of affluence but she is gritty and curious. She has only recently been converted and she is not sure the insurgent cell trust her.

Emma: Teens (or appears to be). Emma’s birth parents were killed by the Colony Elders and she has sworn to avenge them. She is highly capable as she’s been trained all her life by the leader of the insurgent cell and her “father”, Rene.

Steve: 30s (or appears to be). Steve is the leader of Team 325. He is a seasoned veteran of the Department of Reform. He believes in all the Colony stands for and is focused on destroying the insurgency. He is great at his job.

Rene: 30s - 40s (or appears to be). Rene leads the most successful insurgency cell in Gog Colony. He holds himself responsible for Emma’s safety as her parents sacrificed their lives to save his.

We welcome entries from around Atlantic Canada and beyond. Entries from creators around the globe are also welcomed. Awards will be given in 12 categories, and recipients will be decided by a committee led by a programming coordinator.
