This woman can bridge science + spirituality, and challenge everything you thought you knew about healing.

Meet Safyra Bakshani. ✨

She's a clairvoyant, hypnotherapist, breathwork coach, and energy healer, helping people release trauma. While many know Safyra for her intuitive gifts, her story goes far beyond spirituality.

As a healer, educator, and lifelong student of human transformation, she's spent years blending ancient practices with modern techniques to help people move beyond survival and into lasting change.

But in her GOTL Volume 2 chapter, she shares something even more personal.

A story of rediscovery.
A journey through healing.
A reminder that your greatest gifts can emerge from your deepest wounds.

Her chapter explores trauma, addiction, spirituality, subconscious healing, nervous system regulation, and what becomes possible when you're willing to explore beyond what you've always believed.

It's honest + expansive.

It's a powerful reminder that healing isn't about becoming someone new. It's about remembering who you've always been beneath the pain.

We're proud to feature Safyra in GOTL Volume 2 and celebrate the unique perspective she brings to conversations around healing, consciousness, and personal transformation.

When she's not working with clients, you'll usually find Safyra deep in a great book, refining her craft, exploring new healing modalities, or building programs that make transformational work more accessible to people from every walk of life.

It's an honor to spotlight Safyra and the impact she continues to make by helping others reconnect with themselves, trust their intuition, and discover that healing can be both practical and profound. 💖

Meet my dear friend, Serena Haines-the expert who makes the hard conversations feel easier, more human, and far less awkward.
For more than a decade, Serena has taken some of the most avoided subjects in the room, intimacy, relationships, sexual wellness, connection, and pleasure, and turned them into conversations people actually want to lean into. She brings the perfect mix of clinical knowledge, real-life honesty, comedic timing, and absolutely zero shame.

Based here in Halifax and working with clients internationally, Serena moves effortlessly from corporate keynotes and conference stages to sold-out live shows. She has a rare ability to translate intimacy, nervous-system science, and human connection into language that makes sense in both the boardroom and the bedroom.

She is a Board Certified Sexologist, Gottman-Certified Relationship Expert, TEDx Speaker, author, weekly radio regular, and the brilliant host of Just the Tip LIVE.

But most importantly, she is someone who gives people permission to ask questions, be curious, and have conversations that can genuinely change how they feel about themselves and their relationships. Serena Dowden Haines

Hear Janet Hamilton on one of the hardest things to recognize when it’s all you’ve ever known: Emotional neglect.

Sometimes what feels “normal” is simply what we learned to survive. 🩵

Neglect. Parentification. Suppressed emotions.

Janet spent years believing her experience was normal, without realizing how deeply it had shaped the way she moved through the world.

Healing meant finally connecting the dots between what happened, what she learned to suppress, and what her mind and body had been carrying all along.

Healing isn't only about understanding where you've been.

Sometimes it's about finding your way back to the person you were always meant to be. 🫶

This woman can connect dots most people never notice, and help you feel seen without saying a word.

Meet Janet Hamilton. ✨

She's the founder of The Anomaly Factor!, helping caregivers + high achievers uncover the hidden emotional patterns keeping them stuck in survival mode.

While many know Janet for her work in emotional healing and compassionate inquiry, her story goes far beyond the certifications she's earned.

As an educator, speaker, and lifelong student of human connection, she's dedicated herself to helping people move from chaos into peace by understanding the root causes behind emotional pain instead of simply managing the symptoms.

In her GOTL Volume 2 chapter, she shares something even more personal.

A story of awakening.
A journey back to herself.
A reminder that healing begins with presence.

Her chapter explores emotional neglect, caregiving, self-compassion, boundaries, nervous system healing, and what happens when you finally stop carrying everyone else's pain.

It's compassionate.

It reminds us that the answers we've spent a lifetime searching for often begin by slowing down and listening within.

We're proud to feature Janet in GOTL Volume 2 and grateful for the heart she brings to every conversation, every stage, and every life she touches. 🩵

When she's not teaching or speaking, you'll usually find Janet reading, floating in the water, dancing, spending time with family, or dreaming up new ways to help people reconnect with themselves and one another.

It's an honor to spotlight Janet and the impact she continues to make by helping people find peace, embrace authenticity, and create lives built on connection instead of survival.

Hear Kristen Dicker on a side of codependency we don't always recognize: The need for control.

Sometimes what looks like helping ...is really about trying to feel safe ourselves. ✨

Co-regulation. Control. Connection.

Our nervous systems impact one another, and when we rely on someone else to behave a certain way so that we can feel okay, the relationship can quickly become unhealthy.

It's the belief that *if I can control what you do, I can control how I feel.*

But that's not our responsibility, and it's not theirs either.

Recognizing that pattern can be the first step toward creating healthier relationships with others and ourselves. 🌺

Stay tuned for future clips from Kristen, and listen to the full episode on the pod. Link in bio!
