invited me to taste test their spring menu.

The problem is I’m a terrible judge of soup.

Luckily for us Sloane was more than willing to dig in to a bunch of soups and rank her favourites.

All of that said, the carrot cake icecream sandwich was immaculate. Strongly suggest that.

As for the soup? Sloane’s top pick was the tomato tortellini with the chicken peanut, and lemongrass Thai chili behind it 🍲

has opened its doors in and is officially a part of a growing story in the city.

Downtown and the broader city of St. Catharines continues to attract the best of the best. The Mule joins that development and is certainly a welcome addition to an ever growing downtown.

is one of those places you can’t skip. Warm service, amazing food, and the quality that keeps you coming back again and again.

When it comes to the menu you can’t go wrong but I’m a big fan of the chorizo burrito 🌯

Mike’s Subs on Ottawa Street is one of those spots that feels like it’s always been there. Serving the community for over 55 years, it has more than earned its place as a true institution in the city.

Classic hot and cold subs, approachable pricing, and branding that hasn’t tried to chase trends. It’s simple, consistent, and exactly what you want when it’s time for lunch.

Proof that when you do something well for long enough, it becomes part of the neighbourhood.

This video is a bit different and wasn’t something I was expecting when I started our Niagara to Hamilton Food Tour.

Lulu’s Shawarma is one of my lunch staples when in the city for quite some time. In many ways they’re what Hamilton represents. Hardworking people who love the

For now, Tammy is at home healing and getting stronger while Rizgar is serving up their menu Monday to Friday. If you’ve never been or haven’t been in a while let this be your sign to stop in.
