A little reflection on the cameras I used to use. I miss the weight on my shoulders, believe it or not! There was something about the larger camera that also commanded some interest, especially when I would cover news stories with children. They had a lot of questions about the equipment, which I was happy to share some answers. But nearly 50-year-old me is happy for a smaller sized camera that produces some beautiful imagery and is just simply physically easier to carry. I’m really happy I chose to invest in a Sony A7S iii. Each video shoot I learn even more about recording with it and I’m grateful for the opportunity to grow.

Working with the City of Hamilton Lodges staff today on a recruitment video. The goal is to attract talented and giving professionals who make the lives of our Seniors better. I was impressed with the work they do and how they shared their passion for their calling.
