Yesterday, Titans brought the holiday cheer at BT's annual Christmas assembly 🎅

What a wonderful week full of hot cocoa, finding elves, solving Christmas mysteries, festive sweaters, door decorating, caroling, dancing, and more ⛄️

Thanks to for organizing the events to get us in the holiday spirit, for your work behind the scenes, .titanteam for filling us with cheer, staff, admin and all involved in "sleighing" the end of 2025! 🎁

All-around student-athlete, Ilaria Mele, has committed to play D1 Soccer at Niagara University 📝⚽️

A humble but fierce competitor, Ilaria has been a key contributor to many teams throughout her years at BT including touch football, field hockey, track, cross country, badminton, and most predominantly, soccer -- winning the Sr. Girls Soccer Championship alongside her sister, Viviana, last year 📝⚽️

As Coach Barbati so poignantly mentioned in her speech at Ilaria's signing -- "Ilaria possesses a spark that you just can’t teach. She always had the skill, the touch, the control, the creativity—but what defines her isn't just her talent. It's the fire behind it. It’s the way she plays with purpose, with pride, and with a deep love for the game" 📝⚽️

Thank you to all her family, friends, coaches, and teammates who have supported her passion every step of the way 📝⚽️

Here We Come A-Carolling ✨️🎼

Last week, the BT Concert and Rock Band, Choir, and Music Group hosted Christmas Concerts for our feeder schools as well as a final evening show to play in front of friends, family, and the BT Community 🥁🎼

These talented Titans have dedicated hours to their craft, diligently perfecting their skills, and courageously sharing them with us on stage. Special thanks to family, friends, and staff for their support, and of course, Mrs. Belshaw for her ongoing commitment to her students in fostering their love of music 🔔🎼

Winter Sports Media Day BTS ❄️📸

Yesterday we welcomed athletes from our Winter Sports Teams to have their time in the spotlight for Media Day. Athletes from Boys Basketball, Girls Volleyball, Boys and Girls Varsity Hockey, Wrestling, and Swim Teams had fun posing for our photography club members as they gear up for the start of their seasons ❄️📸

Media Day allows our photographers and Comm Tech Students practice their skills in photography, editing, directing, and graphic design. These images will be used for promotions, posters, and updates around our school ❄️📸

Thanks to Kaleb, Angelina, Zen, and Jacob for the time and dedication you put in today and to all our athletes for letting loose and bringing a great attitude 📸

Last night at Carmen's Banquet Centre, the grades 11 & 12 Titans glowed during their Golden Hour Prom ✨️

With good music, a good meal, and good friends, BT shone all night ✨️

Thank you Student Council and staff for all the time it takes to plan this event and for the beautiful decorations, the fun awards, and for crowning Prom Royalty ✨️

Highly-touted pin hitter, Alyssa Cerovac has received a full scholarship to play NCAA D1 volleyball at Cleveland State University 📝🏐

Alyssa has been a force on the court for the Titans with 3 Championships, an OFSAA Gold, an OFSAA Silver, and two GHAC Golds on her resumé. She also dominates academically where she will continue her studies in the Health Sciences at CSU 📝🏐

Thanks to coaches Mrs. Maga and her father, Dennis Cerovac, her club coach, teammates, family, and fans for their ongoing support of this truly special individual who describe Alyssa as simply a joy to know 📝🏐

As the first female Canadian to play for CSU, we know she will continue to shine bright as she steps into this next chapter and can't wait to watch her journey unfold as a Viking 📝🏐

Academic Awards 🧠✨️

We began this GOLDEN week by celebrating the Academic Achievements of our Titans from the previous school year, proving BT are champions in the classroom too 🧠💪

Our Director of Education, Mr. David Hansen, and Superintendent Mr. Di Ianni, were present to deliver the Director's Awards to our honoured recipients. The top 10 students from each grade with the highest averages were also acknowledged for their academic successes of the 2024-25 school year 🧠✨️

Special thanks to our staff and Prefects for organizing today's events. To our wonderful teachers for educating our Titans. And most importantly, thank you parents -- you are your children's first teachers and whom they learn from the most 🧠💛

Congratulations, Titans! You've dedicated countless hours to your studies and it has paid off. Your future is so bright 🧠✨️

Champions 🏆🏀

On Tuesday night, the Senior Girls Basketball team took home the trophy in a nail-biting Championship game against Newman 🏆🏀

With seconds remaining, the Titans went up by one point on a free-throw shot to end the 'too-close-for-comfort' game 39-38 🏆🏀

This victory is extra sweet for our Titans and graduating Seniors as they leave a legacy of being a part of the only Sr. Girls Basketball team to have won a Championship in BT's history 🏆🏀

Thank you Coach Moccia for dedicating your time in leading this group to GOLD, and thank you always to family and fans for your support 🏆🏀

Junior Girls Basketball at Bishop Tonnos is quickly becoming a dynasty as they won their Fourth Consecutive City Championship on Tuesday against St. Mary 🏀

This outstanding team went undefeated all season, securing each win by over 30pts or more. Tuesdays game was no different as the final scoreclock read 86-31 in their victory against the Crusaders on our home court 🏀

Thanks to coaches Maga and McPhee for your leadership and dedication all season, and to the families and fans for all your support of this truly special group 🏀

Congrats Ladies! We look forward to many more years of greatness as you make BT a basketball powerhouse 🏀

What a Frightfully Fun Week we had celebrating the most Terrifying Time of year 🕸

Our Petrifyingly Passionate Arts Students showcased their Spooky Skills at the Halloween-themed Coffeehouse on Tuesday with music, singing, acting, and more 👻

Doors and pumpkins were Dreadfully Decorated -- Haunting our Hallways and ending the Wicked Week with our annual Halloween Assembly 💀

We're Ghoulishly Grateful for everyone who helped bring an Eerie End to October. Special Scary thanks to the BT Arts Council, Mr. Barnard and Mrs. Belshaw, Student Council, and to teachers and classes who participated in the week's events 🧛‍♂️
