Many farmers ask can't we use Black flies / Maggot to replace fish feed , the answer is simple if you want to tell yourself the truth .
Watch the video below you will see already processed ones for sale from some farmers who do the biz but the problem is how many of these will you buy to feed your fishes to satisfaction, if you compare cash for cash to feed to satisfaction already made feed is cheaper .
Another thing is this already made feed contains all the necessary required mineral essentials to make your catfish big and achieve weight in faster period of time but this does not , this is mainly proteinous and catfish needs a balanced diet for best results.
If you look at the two results you will an answer but again the excuse that catfish eat so much means you never planed for the biz , their is not successful biz without a plan so if u planned it you will know they need very balanced diet for best growth and weight and weight and what you sell in catfish is growth and weight so all you must do is reduce the number you are starting with , do it right get best results and grow your business.
