Many designers have their own process ~ ours is to start the dreaming on Pinterest, but it's not our first step. We use important discoveries about the business that are unearthed in the step before. The brand strategy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It's definitely not B.A.U these days, that for darn sure. And do we have guilt or anxiety around that statement? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Being open and honest can be vulnerable, but we also see the merit in being authentic and real about the situation. Chances are if we are struggling with the balance right now, it's pretty certain others are as well. ✨⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

With added demands from virtual school 👩‍🏫 first time-motherhood 🤱 and balancing everyone's mental health we had a serious talk about priorities and financial goals for Q1.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

One of the reprioritizations was to defer any new projects, and bring production levels down from a rolling boil to a simmer. Staying true to our brand means that when we are at our best, we can serve our clients best.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It's been a year, that's for sure! I am sure we are ALL ready to sign off on 2020 and start a fresh chapter. That said, this years challenges just highlighted how resilient entrepreneurs and small business owners truly are. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Here’s a little tidbit for ya - we unofficially began our design partnership in 2015. We called ourselves MintWebDesign 💻 'delivering fresh designs to small businesses'. But it was 3 years ago TODAY that we restrategized, designed and launched . My how time flies! 🕐⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here are 3 things we've taken away over the last 5 years working with some incredible clients and entrepreneurs:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

👉 Building a network and tribe of cheerleaders is crucial!
