We are so happy and proud to share that the two unstoppable presidents of Six Shooter Records, Shauna de Cartier and Helen Britton are this year’s recipients of the MMF Honour Roll in partnership with Billboard Canada at NXNE

On reflecting on their partnership that has spanned over twenty years, Helen commented “We are so different but somehow share a brain. We are the greatest of balance for each other.” Through highs and lows, the two have remained constant and continue to advance the global careers of independent artists while placing art, music, and connection at the centre of it all.

Thank you to and congratulations to and on their many nominations this year at the Western Canadian Music Awards. Both of them are up for Recording of The Year and Roots Artist of the Year, and William Prince is also nominated for Songwriter of the Year as well. Liam Duncan, aka Boy Golden, is also nominated for Producer of the Year for credits such as “Further From the Country”

Congrats also to of who’s for Video Director of the Year for their work on Boy Golden’s “Cowboy Dreams” music video. Also to for Excellence in Visual Design which included the design of Further From the Country.

is welcoming the world to Canada at the televised Canadian opening ceremonies of the on June 12th in Toronto before Canada kicks off against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
