Group ride schedule for the Adrenaline Ju**ie Jamboree at Ride Royal Blue! A lot of you have been asking about the group rides, so here it is. I’ll also be posting a document shortly with more specific details for anyone looking for additional information on the routes and rides.
Please keep in mind that this schedule is a guideline. Things may change as we work around group sizes, skill levels, weather, trail conditions, breakdowns and other variables we simply can’t fully predict or control.
Last year the group rides went well for the most part. Breakdowns happen, issues come up and plans sometimes have to change. I felt we handled those situations well at the last event, and we’ll continue learning and improving.
The group rides are probably the hardest part of this entire event to organize because they rely on a lot of things falling into place.
If you join us on a group ride, please treat your trail guides well. These guys are volunteers who are dedicating a lot of their own time to help provide everyone with the best group riding experience possible. Bring some cash to tip your guide at the end of the day if you can.
Be respectful to the guides, the other riders and anyone you come across along the way. Respect the trails and the communities they are a part of. Buy your trail passes. Bring a positive attitude and interact with the people around you.
The real goal of these rides is to grow the community and meet new like minded people. My hope is that everyone leaves with a few new friends, riding buddies and maybe discover some new trails they want to come back to and explore.
A group ride at the Jamboree should hopefully lead to a lot more rides in the future with the people you meet along the way.
We’ll continue working to improve these events every year, and we already have some great ideas for how to make the Jamboree and the overall experience even better moving forward.
I can’t wait to see you all out there.
