We became instant fans of the Charlottetown rockers after catching them at Showcase PEI last year, and couldn’t be more excited to now be working together. Channelling the guitar-damaged pop of ’90s American slacker bands alongside the spirit of Canada’s East Coast scene, Gizmo are a 120 Minutes band for the Gen Z set.

They’ve got plenty of exciting news on the horizon, so stay tuned!

We travelled from St. John’s to Victoria this spring with Alan Doyle, and it was a time, to say the least! We’re very grateful for the experience, the big, beautiful venues, and all the folks we met at the shows. This fall, we’re taking the whole Schoonertown album on the road, right across the country again! We’re excited for a full set and to get back on the road!

We can’t wait to be back in Orillia at Mariposa Folk Festival this summer from July 3-5, 2026 at Tudhope Memorial Park. Great Lake Swimmers and Splash'N Boots will both be there as part of an incredible lineup! Congrats to Spencer Shewen and the whole Mariposa team for putting together another incredible weekend!

The East Pointers' fifth full-length album, “Schoonertown,” is coming out on January 23, 2026 and their new single “Tear in the Tide” is out today!

"Schoonertown” is rooted in our early years as a band, and paints a picture – half dream/half reality – of what it’s like growing up in a small East Coast seaside town. Through the eyes of a young fisherman, the songs and tunes are the soundtrack to the tidal shifts of life on and off the water; the struggles and triumphs, the hopes and dreams that ebb and flow with the seasons, love, growth, and figuring out your place in the world. We’re very excited to share it with you!

It’s also the first album we’ve written, produced, and recorded entirely on our own, which makes it feel extra special!

Join us Thursday, June 12 at the Paris Presbyterian Church for a one-night-only revue-style show, featuring songs and stories from artists we’ve worked with and have been lucky to call friends over the years.
