Just a friendly reminder that tonight is the night for the 2025 Town of Rainbow Lake Candidates Forum. The forum will take place between 7pm and 9pm at the Rainbow Lake Rec Plex. Candidates will each be given 3 minutes to introduce themselves before opening up to questions from the audience. Question priority will be given to those in attendance, but we have also received some email submissions to be asked on the residents behalf. Please come out and get to know your Town Council Candidates.

In order to vote, you must produce for inspection one or more of the acceptable forms of identification required by section 53 of the Local Authorities Election Act:

Show one piece of government issued photo ID that contains your name, your photo, and your current address.

•If it doesn’t have your current address, additional proof of address may be required.

If you don’t have a single piece of photo ID with name + current address, you can show two pieces of ID. Both must include your full name.

•At least one must show your current physical address.

Held every year during Fire Prevention Week, this year’s event will include some basic demonstrations on how to properly handle a fire extinguisher, or stop in at our Colouring Station, and take part in a fire truck tour!

We’ll also have information on the new Community Connect and Knox Box programs!
