We hiked up Shutin Island in hopes of seeing some of the wildlife reported in the bay but the fog beat us to it. We did see some seals that caught Ollies attention. The blueberries are ripe.

I had no other takers for an early morning paddle. So Ollie joined me in our double kayak around Paddys Head lighthouse to Middle Point with view towards Peggy’s Cove lighthouse and a stop on Jacks Island. Of course, this can only be done in the calmest of conditions. We also came across a large school of herring(?) in Yankee Cove.
