Indian Head Technology Services Inc. is looking for a part/full time Installation Technician. This is a Monday to Friday opportunity. This position is commission paid with hourly internal and external rates.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
• Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions
• Managing all on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
• Maintaining accurate and timely service reports
• Managing the inventory management cycle and annual counts. Returning inventory that requires repair.
• Producing timely and detailed service reports
• Audit previous installation and repair work to ensure standards have been met and if not, completing work at the customer premises for compliance
• Operating a vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems
• Following all company filed procedures and protocols
• Cooperating with technical teams and sharing information across the organization
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Mobile Device (for organization, communication, and other work-related functions)
• Be comfortable working at heights, and outdoors
• Demonstrated experience in installation and repair of internet and tv
• Strong knowledge of computers and basic troubleshooting of internet connections. Basic networking knowledge
• Experience working in a customer-focused environment
• Ability to follow directions and / or use GPS mapping
• Knowledge of working standards of Health and Safety, construction and CSA
• Professionalism and tact in representing the company to our customers (both internal and external)
• Ability to interpret and solve technical problems. Resourceful, courteous, honest and reliable.
• Strong time management skills with attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fun environment
• Experience installing structured cable (coaxial, network, low voltage)
Additionally, the right applicant will require:
• Smart Phone (for organization, communication, and other work-related functions)
• Valid driver’s license
• Drill, wrench, sockets, screw drivers, installation tools
• Working at Heights Training
• Online training and certification (to be completed during training period)
• Physical capacity to lift 60lbs
• Clean Criminal Record Check
During the training period, you will develop a comprehensive and thorough understanding of our systems, and installations process, as well as our partners’ (Internet, TV and CCTV) standards and support network.

I’m not sure who left this is on our door step but you will need to come back and pick it up and return it to access. We are no longer dealers ( we haven’t been for almost 2 months now ) so I can no longer assist you in this return.

Our final week!!!

What would a journey be if we didn’t take that next step…..how would we even know !!

Making a change …… some don’t like change and some do. We are up to try it. Bring in a new business to town ( which will be announced soon ) and help the new guys get their business off the ground.

We want to thank everyone for the last 18 years of continuous business as without you all, it never would have been and still is a success. Our customers mean everything to us and the friendships we have built with them will always be friendships to cherish.

It’s not an easy thing to shut our doors but we do believe it is the best for us all at this point. I know for a fact that I am going to miss all our customers that just come in to say hello to
Me, pretty much every day. I love the interaction with people so it may be a little hard for me. We all know I love to talk!! Lol

Please rest assure that we are not closing completely we are all just taking a different journey on our own.
The years pass by and we feel that this is a perfect opportunity for us to be able to take a few steps back and enjoy a little extra time with our family and friends.

John and I will continue with Xplore, Satalite, yard cameras, cattle cams etc….. we will also be keeping our store number as we are not shutting Indian Head Technology down….we are just moving home!

Patrick will continue to do all IT work and anything related to computers from his home. He can be reached on his cell or by email.
