So excited to announce that Hunger Winter '45, Documentary Short is a Nominee for the Berlin Red Carpet Ceremony on November 29th, 2025 for WSXA Amsterdam. Really grateful to be considered. Special thank you to the hard working Production Team: Editor-Steve Bowyer, BC Camera-Steve Sara, Stills Photographer-Teyana MacLean-Mio, Production Assistant-Skye MacLean-Mio. I will also be at the 34th Hot Springs Film Festival in Arkansas from October 11-18th. Although not chosen the Festival is an amazing support & I will be at the Filmmaker Forum to update my skills!

OP Faust: Hunger Winter '45, a great success in Victoria, BC. After Party at the Gun Room enabled audience to meet, and share personal stories about War, Liberation, and rebuilding countries. CHEK TV will Broadcast in June for Victory in Europe Day, and Remembrance Day. Canadians love stories of courage, negotiation and compassion during times of Occupation.

Factual first person stories from the past, to the present. Archival footage showcases first Humanitarian Aid Corridor during occupation.

2024, a busy year travelling and documenting Op Faust: Hunger Winter of '45. Releasing 2025. Numerous Keynotes, and chosen as a North American delegate for training in Chicago with Rotary/IEP. 2025 will be a time of global upheaval. Planning to continue to use my skills to develop Positive Peace & Unity.

Remembrance Day Assembly at Logan Lake Secondary School in BC. An opportunity to comment on Service stories from WW1, WW2, Indigenous features, and my 4 Combat Camera embeds with 6 NATO Countries, in Afghanistan. The kids were amazing, understanding the importance of Positive Peace, and factual stories from the frontlines.

Grateful to spend time with my beautiful mom, and longtime friends, and family in Toronto. My mom's cat Sandy and I, bonded watching the new Reacher Series. Heidi is holding Gertie who was rescued 10 years ago. My sister Ellen spoiled me daily. Air Canada booked me a hotel, taxi, food vouchers, after I missed Kamloops flight due to Thunderstorms in Toronto. Loved the ramp that AC used in Kamloops, great for passengers needing mobility assists. Tiny Beach's is lovely, and my friend Joyce drove 2 hours to visit, and brought lunch! Energized now, to complete OP Faust: Hunger Winter of '45, and start Wildfire Volunteer duties with the Salvation Army Disaster Response Unit. Feeling blessed.

Op Faust: Hunger Winter of '45, is in final Post Production with a Broadcast release date in November 2025. As an Allie to Canadian & NATO Service stories, I rely on Non Profits & Corporate entities to help fund courageous stories globally. Grateful to receive a donation from Lt. Quinn, Metrotown Mazda, who continue to support our Military families, and their stories. Guild of Wagoneers & Artificers, HCol. Watkins is working with me to raise finishing funds. On November 11th, we honoured our Veterans for Remembrance Day. I also think with sadness, of all of the Afghan Police and Military women who died trying to bring democracy to Afghanistan. Lest We Forget Afghan Police/Military Women.

2019, was such a pivotal year! Hill 70 France and Vimy, to honour WW 1 Hero Private Fred Lee, then to the Netherlands to document WW2 Dutch Survivors in my latest Documentary Op Faust: Hunger Winter of '45, releasing 2024. Williams Head Ceremony with Chinese Canadian Veterans, most of whom have passed. Then the World stopped for 2 years, due to the Pandemic! So grateful to have documented first person stories of so many Veterans and Survivors of War while they lived.

Op Faust : Hunger Winter of '45, just completed final field shooting in the Netherlands. Canadians were treated with so much gratitude by Dutch communities. Honoured to document Canadian troops as guests in Dutch Remembrance Day Ceremonies and Liberation Day Parades. Wonderful current interviews, former WW2 Vets and Child Witnesses who are now in their 80's, and access to archival WW2 footage. Release is either Canadian Remembrance week in November 2023, or Dutch Remembrance Week in May 2024. Privilege to work with Teyana my daughter, for first time. View Pix at
