As an avid reader and a lover of surprises the thrill of a monthly surprise subscription box always lulls me in. I made a decision to look through the book subscription boxes that I could find and pick one that worked for me. Unfortunately, the more I researched the more I was
disappointed! Every box that seemed affordable was way out of my monthly price range or was only available in the US. As Canadians, we don't typically get access to the same selection and cheap prices as our southern neighbors but I confess, I was a bit heartbroken. My love of reading and need for new material kept tugging at me and this year, more than ever I needed to indulge in a bit of self-care to maintain my sanity! The more I thought about this box, the more I realized that I could make it happen on my own! I had previously owned a restaurant that housed an artisan market and have lots of local contacts with vendors. I belong to an amazing book club where the members are not only full of literary knowledge but also inspiration. I also have relationships with some innovative and crafty local businesses that would love to contribute and partner with me on this project. And so The Book Addict's Book Box was born! The Book Addict's Book Box is specifically curated for the person who loves to read! Each month, a new box will be available for your reading pleasure.
