You pray to God, or the universe, or whoever’s listening… whoever you believe in… for a change.

For more wealth.
More time with your kids.
More capacity. More joy.

Or maybe it’s less of something.
Less stress, less debt, less fight or flight feelings.

And then something lands in your lap…
But immediately, you say no.

Because it looks different than what you imagined.

Sometimes opportunities don’t look the way we anticipate them to. They don’t look like something we’ve seen before.

Oftentimes, it’s not as obvious as we would think.

Sometimes it’s a person.
Sometimes it’s a conversation.

But it would be a damn shame if we let something that could change our lives pass us by because it feels “different”.

God doesn’t always answer prayers with a wrapped-up solution.
Sometimes He sends a seed.
And it’s your job to plant it.

So the next time something unexpected shows up in your world—pause. Don’t dismiss it just because it doesn’t look how you thought it would.

It might just be the very thing you prayed for.
