Further to the broken wheel. I hit a large log just right and cracked the rim and would not hold air despite trying to patch it. We ended up putting one of 42s on after he drove out to gravel and drove it out then .tj6 ran home and got his set of 40s and came back in his Ford with a floor jack and a air gun and we nascar’d the tires in the middle of Philpot FSR and I drove home. Now loaded up to take his tires back and fetch the 44s which are in his truck. .veinotte thanks guys!

My record of 19 years of not needing a spare came to an end yesterday when I hit a log just right crossing a creek. Near impossible to carry a 44 spare and I wont start now but team work got me back out in pretty reasonable time considering we left my Jeep and wheeled all day.

The calm before the storm. As the guys said I was the only one who didn’t winch. Thats because I hit a stump before the hard stuff and broke a rim and it got left to deal with at the end of the day. I had three different brands of tires on my Jeep by the time I got it home at 10PM. Still an epic day. Team work all day!

I was looking for a cover of my old print magazine. It was one of a Bronco on the cover I shot in Upper Helldorado Moab. Two months later 4 wheel drive and sport utility used almost the exact same picture. Their photographer must have been standing right beside me. On this quest i found some great shots of my past projects. Bob tailed solid axle 4Runner, my TJ and my snow wheeler in Moab. . Enjoy!
