6 days. 🥹❤️

Just 6 days ago Remi was hospitalized with a severe maggot infestation and skin infection from lack of care from a dog sitter. It was one of the scariest things I’ve ever seen.

Since then he’s had:
🐾 Daily chlorhexidine washes
🐾 Antibiotics twice a day
🐾 Creams and wound care
🐾 Easy-on-the-stomach home-cooked meals
🐾 Lots of rest, love, and cuddles

The difference in just 6 days is incredible. His skin is healing, he’s feeling better, and his personality is coming back. 🙌

Thank you to everyone who checked in, sent messages, and kept him in your thoughts. We still have healing to do, but he’s proving every day what a tough old boy he is. ❤️
