After 7 months it's finally done. No thanks to my upstairs neighbors that, every morning between 2am & 5am, has taken to practicing for the Furniture Moving event at the Olympics. If the level of noise is any indication of their talent, they're sure to take home the Gold Medal this year.

If you're thinking, "Oh boy, I bet the extra time spent means this album is really well produced and filled with high quality music" you'd best get that idea out of your head right now.

As always, this album is best experienced with headphones. The process of mastering for portability continues to escape me: there's always some type of sound system that my tracks sound like absolute garbage on, be it smartphone, car, TV, or something else, but since I mix primarily with headphones they should always sound decent enough. Should. I really couldn't say; I don't own your headphones. Maybe the songs suck on there too. You'll just have to accept them as is. If you want a refund, I'll PayPal you the $0.0003 I got from your stream.

This album has been done for quite awhile, but I have been urged repeatedly by people more intelligent than myself not to release more than one album every two months. Something about a "percieved perception of effort & attention". In layman's terms: "tricking people into thinking you put a lot more work into something than you actually did".

This album simultaneously has better production quality and poorer production quality than my previous releases. I've mastered the use of some essential tools, while shunning others, because I hate them and I'm not getting paid enough to put myself through the agony of utilizing them.

Some notes:

-The theme of this album turned out to be "relentless noise". Some of these songs got way out of hand.

-I attempted to make shorter tracks for this album. I failed.

-There's a concept in music production known as "portability", which basically means that a song sounds good regardless of what medium you use to listen to it, be it your home theatre, car, headphones, or smartphone. It's a very tricky area of audio mixing.
My music has TERRIBLE portability. Apologies if some of these tracks sound absolutely horrendous on your audio system of choice. They sure sound like a pile of trash on some of mine. I've spent the last 2 weeks struggling to master portability, but all I'm doing is slowly destroying them. I need to stop before there's nothing left.

WTF IS ALL THIS?

This album is a personal therapy project. It's not my typical output; It contains very few instances of copied and pasted pre-recorded studio loops, and very many instances of me setting up four-to-six synthesizers, focusing my thoughts on a specific instance of personal betrayal, and just seeing what happens (which helps explain why this thing is so excessive in length).

I've equalized and balanced these riffs as best I can, but I'm no professional, so don't expect miracles; Expect depression, anger, annoyance, and more than a couple surprising guitar solos hidden throughout the album for the intrepid listener to discover.

Track titles are cleverly encoded with the names of people who suck.
If you figure out that one is referring to you, keep it to yourself, you garbage jerk. You know what you did.

In an attempt to gain some perspective on recent events, I decided to make a list of all the times I've been unexpectedly betrayed by trusted friends & family over the years.

I wouldn't recommend ever doing that. It's extremely depressing.

The good news is, I decided to turn each one into music as a form of therapy, and the album is 84% complete.

The bad news is, these songs are built on a foundation of horrible, life-ruining betrayals, so they're really not very fun at all. They're angry, depressing, annoying, or all three simultaneously.

You're going to hate them, and I'm not going to care.
