Winter has returned to the central mountains of Colorado. 10-12 inches fell from CB to Aspen. Additional pow will favor areas north of I-70 later today. ULLR is teasing us! 3-5 inches fell at A Basin and Copper (open).

Moisture and warm temperatures are returning to the West. Snow levels rise above 8K in the Sierra (light snow) Saturday as a storm sets up Sunday-Tuesday in the central Rockies. Dense snow will stack up in the Wasatch and Uinta range into Tuesday above 7K initially lowering to 6500K early next week (7-15). Well needed moisture will be falling in many areas of the central and southern Rockies. Powderchasers has issued its final season post.
