🎥 Pitch Fest Judge - Shawn Williamson

Shawn is an Emmy-nominated producer and founder of Brightlight Pictures, a Vancouver-based film and TV production company established in 2001. With over 100 projects to his name, his work spans major films like White Noise, Colossal, 50 Dead Men Walking, and Disney’s Descendants.

His recent productions include Float (Lionsgate), Firefly Lane (Netflix), The Power (Amazon Prime), and Lucky Hank (AMC). And the highly successful The Good Doctor, which was named the world’s most-watched TV series at the 2018 Monte Carlo TV Festival.

Williamson’s past credits feature a diverse range of projects, from The Interview and Horns to Julie and the Phantoms and The Company You Keep. Beginning his career as a stage manager at The Arts Club Theatre in 1983, he has also worked extensively on live events and unscripted series worldwide, bringing decades of experience to the industry.
