For years, I struggled with aphids, slugs, and other pests in my garden.
What finally surprised me wasn't learning how to get rid of them—it was learning how to prevent the problem in the first place.
Sometimes the biggest breakthroughs come from changing the system, not working harder within the same one.
That got me thinking about how similar gardening is to business.
When we don't know a better way, we tend to keep doing the same things over and over, even when they're not producing the results we want. It took me years to learn some simple gardening lessons that now seem obvious.
Business can be the same way.
That's one of the reasons Jennifer and I appreciate being part of a community where people openly share what's working. Having a proven process doesn't guarantee success, but it can help you avoid years of unnecessary trial and error.
Whether it's gardening or business, growth takes time, consistency, patience, and a willingness to learn.
