Happy New Year!!

We are excited to announce the next Calgary Reptile Expo on May 27/28 2023

NEW LOCATION
The Genesis Centre 7555 Falconridge Blvd NE Calgary.
Our dedicated entrance will be on the NE side next to Nelson Mandela High School.

This will be largest Reptile Expo hosted by a Not For Profit Society in Canada!!
The show will feature local reptile businesses, breeders, hobbyists and enthusiasts from all across Canada.

If you’re interested in reptiles, amphibians, arachnids and other invertebrates you’ll find find a new friend here!

100% of the proceeds are used to fund various initiatives in our A.C.E program (Advocacy, Conservation, Education) including UofC Scholarships, Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (ARC) and other conservation and environmental efforts.

The Alberta Reptile and Amphibian Society (TARAS) was founded in 1984 and is 100% run by volunteers. If you’d like to join, please become a member and join our online meetings. Visit AlbertaReptiles.ca to learn more.

🐍 You may bring a new specialty pet home with you, so it's best to be prepared to keep the safety of your new pet in mind by bringing cooler bags and heat packs (if required).

❄️ Weather is unpredictable this time of year so it's best to be prepared for anything!

‼️URGENT‼️ Regional elections are coming up and the are trying to ban us from owning ALL reptiles!
- PLEASE raise your voices and fight for our rights to have our pets. If you read their full statement, they have a TON of misinformation on reptiles and what the majority of this community is like. Unfortunately, it’s seems it’s always people that clearly don’t know what they talking about trying to take away our freedoms and personally my reason for existence is literally reptiles.

It’s been 16 years since my hero passed away. I can’t tell you how excited I would be watching his shows and crawling on the floor pretending to catch a croc! Which then led me outside to catch real frogs and snapping turtles 😂

RIP Steve you’re memory will always live on!❤️
